TERMS OF SERVICE PLACEHOLDER

The proposed rules for using PILOMED

A launch-draft framework for storefront orders, accounts and wellness-service requests. It is not ready to govern real transactions until completed and approved.

Launch draft — not final legal text

This placeholder must be completed and approved by PILOMED’s authorised legal and business teams before the site accepts live orders or personal information. Replace every bracketed field and remove this notice only after approval.

01

Agreement and business identity

These draft terms are intended to govern use of [website domain] and services offered by [legal entity name], trading as PILOMED. Insert the registered address, registration details, tax identifiers and authorised support channels.

State when a customer accepts the terms, which additional policies form part of the agreement and how a customer can retain a copy.

02

Eligibility, accounts and acceptable use

Define the minimum age and authority required to order or submit information. Customers should provide accurate details, protect account access and notify PILOMED of suspected misuse.

  • Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access.
  • Do not submit another person’s sensitive information without appropriate authority.
  • Do not use consultation or report-request tools for emergencies, diagnosis or urgent clinical decisions.
  • Add PILOMED’s approved suspension, investigation and account-closure process.
03

Product and wellness information

Catalogue and editorial information is general and must be based on PILOMED-approved source material. It is not a diagnosis, prescription or substitute for personalised advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Customers should review the final label, ingredients, directions, warnings, expiry and storage information. Add approved guidance for allergies, pregnancy, nursing, medication use, existing conditions and age restrictions without making unsupported claims.

04

Orders, prices and payments

Explain when an order becomes binding, how stock and totals are confirmed, available payment methods, taxes, delivery charges, failed payments and cancellation. All checkout totals should be calculated and verified by PILOMED’s server.

Prices, promotions and availability may change before an order is confirmed. Insert the process for obvious pricing errors, duplicate orders, fraud review and payment-provider failures.

05

Consultation and report-review requests

Submitting a preferred date or time creates a request, not a confirmed appointment. PILOMED must publish the final practitioner identity, qualifications, availability, fees, permitted scope, cancellation terms and follow-up method before offering a live service.

The current report workflow stores metadata only. If file upload is enabled, update these terms to match the approved consent, private-storage, review, access, retention and deletion process.

06

Customer content and communications

Set terms for reviews, questions, uploaded material and support messages. Explain moderation, permitted reuse, removal and ownership without claiming rights broader than necessary.

List the transactional channels PILOMED may use for order and service updates, and explain any separate consent required for marketing.

07

Availability, warranties and responsibility

Insert counsel-approved terms addressing service interruptions, third-party providers, product warranties, exclusions, statutory consumer protections and any limits of responsibility. Do not publish a blanket exclusion that conflicts with applicable law.

Any indemnity or limitation amount must be reviewed for PILOMED’s actual business model, insurance and jurisdiction.

08

Changes, termination and disputes

State how changes are announced, when updated terms apply and which provisions continue after an account or service ends. Add the customer complaint and escalation steps.

Governing law: [jurisdiction] · Courts or forum: [location] · Consumer grievance route: [details] · Formal notices: [email and postal address].
